Behind the Counter
Behind the Counter: New Listings, Better Browsing, and Five Collector Guides
A look behind the counter at new eBay auction links, cleaner shopping tools, consolidated series labels, and five new collector guides.
Today’s work focused on making it easier to find coins, understand how they are for sale, and get from a search result to the right next step.
New listings and auction links
We prepared 47 coins from the newest intake for their appropriate selling path. Nine were prepared as direct Pops Change Exchange shop listings. Thirty-eight were prepared as five-day eBay auctions with USPS Ground Advantage shipping set at $2.49 paid by the buyer.
Those eBay auction coins are now connected to the Pops Change Exchange website. Collectors can search for them alongside the rest of the inventory, open their details, and follow the eBay link to bid while the auction is live. That keeps the main shop useful for research without showing a shop checkout button for an auction-only coin.
A clearer way to browse
We also cleaned up the shopping tools. Results now begin in title order, and the action area groups the useful choices together: inspect a coin, save it, and see how it is available. A coin that can be bought from Pops Change Exchange uses the green cart action. An eBay auction uses the eBay action. Other live auctions keep a clear auction indicator.
The comparison list is more focused too. When a shopper has at least three eligible coins and more than $500 in the current comparison list, a one-time Vault Special can appear for 15% off that selected group. The offer is tied to the customer account and is recorded when used.
Cleaner coin series
Coin series labels were consolidated so the same type of coin does not appear under several nearly identical names. Singular and plural labels, common spelling mistakes, and duplicate names were brought together. Capped Bust, Seated Liberty, and Barber coins remain separated by denomination, so collectors can still browse half dimes, dimes, quarters, half dollars, and other distinct series clearly.
Five new collector guides
We published five inventory-aware landing pages built around the series collectors search for most. Each page combines a plain-language introduction, easy reference tables, filters, sorting, and the matching live Pops Change Exchange inventory. When a coin image is available in inventory, the page can use it; otherwise there is a replaceable placeholder.
- Indian Head Pennies for Sale
- Buffalo Nickels for Sale
- Wheat Pennies for Sale
- Mercury Dimes for Sale
- Silver Dimes for Sale
The home page now points directly to these series with compact, clear links. The goal is simple: help a collector move quickly from a series they recognize to the coins, facts, and images that help them decide what comes next.
Browse the current coins whenever you are ready to start looking.
