Attractive, original 1908-S Indian Head Cent. Struck at the San Francisco Mint with a low mintage of just 1,115,000, this key-date piece represents a vital cornerstone for any complete Indian Head cent run.

    Variety & Key Date Significance:

As a low-mintage key date from the final years of the series before the introduction of the Lincoln cent in 1909, this San Francisco issue is a coveted prize for collectors.

    Obverse Diagnostics:
Features the classic portrait of Lady Liberty wearing a Native American headdress, surrounded by the crisp legend "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the date 1908 at the bottom.

    Reverse Diagnostics:
Features the oak wreath and shield enclosing "ONE CENT", with the distinctive "S" mintmark located below the bow at the bottom.

    Condition & Grade Estimate:
We estimate this coin to be in Very Fine (VF) condition.

    Details:
The Liberty coronet details are clear and readable, and the legend letters and feather definitions remain bold. The surfaces exhibit an honest, chocolate-brown bronze coloration typical of a well-preserved circulated classic from the twilight year of the series.

    Eye Appeal:
Honest original eye appeal with attractive, natural surfaces that showcase the coin's history. There are no harsh cleanings, distracting scratches, or major dings.
