About this coin
Struck during the chaotic financial Panic of 1907. While Wall Street collapsed, immigration hit all-time highs and cash-strapped citizens flooded the economy with demand for everyday small change, making 1907 the highest mintage year in the entire series history, but few remain in this high quality.

Grade Estimate: Choice MS-63 to MS-64 Red-Brown
-
Highlights: Booming original luster with exceptional eye appeal. Full, razor-sharp "LIBERTY" and complete reverse shield/wreath lines. Clean surfaces with no nasty marks or heavy carbon.
-
Surface Diagnostics: The coin shows excellent preservation. The typical weak points on a 1907 (the curl of hair above the ear and the ribbon ends) are completely crisp here. The fields are remarkably clear of micro-hairlines or friction, meaning the luster is original and undisturbed.
-
PCGS Population Statistics: Because 1907 was a massive mintage year (108+ million struck), finding generic brown circulated examples is easy. However, finding pristine, lustrous Red-Brown Uncirculated examples is a different story.
