A honest, highly appealing example of early American copper history. Struck during Thomas Jefferson's first presidential term, this 1803 Draped Bust Large Cent features the classic design by Robert Scot.
This piece has been closely attributed to the standard S-250 / S-251 die variety, featuring the desirable Small Date, Small Fraction, and Stems Present design markers. The reverse displays the textbook 5-berry left / 5-berry right wreath layout.

Grade: Evaluated as a strong Good to Very Good (G/VG) with bold, completely legible legends, full date, and a smooth, dark chocolate-charcoal patina.
